AGARTALA, Sep 26 (TIWN): Fog has gripped Tripura on Tuesday, on the day of Shashti.

After many years fog has been seen in such a manner in Tripura on Durga puja.

Only 1 days left for Durga Puja-2017 and club members are now busy in final preparations. All clubs in Agartala are carrying Durga idols.

Durga Puja, also called Durgotsava and Navaratri, is an annual Hindu festival in the Indian subcontinent that reveres the goddess Durga. It is particularly popular in West Bengal, Odisha, Assam and Tripura, and the diaspora from this region.

On Choturthi evening, heavy rush of public were seen at Agartala's various pandals.

Many pandals have been inaugurated today and massive celebrations are going on across Agartala.

Rushes in the markets are increasing more day by day. Amidst internet suspension, public are taking selfies, enjoying and keeping the moments in phone memories which will be immediately uploaded once net is back.
