AGARTALA, Sep 24 (TIWN): In demand of proper investigation in Santanu murder case, Tripura journalists from Agartala Press Club has placed a deputation to Chief Minister Manik Sarkar.
Along with the Chief Minister DGP A K Sukla also remained present during the meeting among Chief Minister and Journalists.
Addressing the media after meeting ended with CM, Press Club active member and journalists Chitra Roy said, "Many issues have been discussed with the Chief Minister. We have demanded for faster investigation and judiciary procedures in Santanu murder case. Hopefully Santnau will get justice soon".
Noteworthy, Santanu's brutal murder was taken place ahead of Assembly Election-2018, when all the political parties are engaged to play with sentiments. Common people should stand together with harmony and peace.
Resident of Jirania, the young journalist was associated with various electronic media who has been killed while covering IPFT and CPI-M clash.
Santanu was 26 years old, born on 12 January, 1989, studied at Birendra Nagar High School, VM University.
