AGARTALA, Sep 18 (TIWN): Atleast 80 lakhs of loss was measured after fired gutted a market in Udaipur on Monday early morning.

The incident took place at Jamjuri Baistabichar area at the early morning 3 AM. Atleast  12 shops were burnt along with one house.

After the primary investigation, short circuit has been guessed as the cause of the fire.

Local people alleged that the fire brigade didn't come in time and due to the late operation such a massive loss occurred.
