SONAMURA, Sep 15 (TIWN): Tripura CM Manik Sarkar in block inauguration programme at Sonamura said, “Now a days people have lost interest to celebrate independence day as even after 70 years of independence their dreams have not been fulfilledâ€.
Manik Sarkar was addressing in a two floored building inauguration programme of Mohonbhog Block at the cost of 3 crores 21 lakhs.
MLA Shyamal Chakraborty, Minister Sahid Chowdhury also remained present on that occasion.
Addressing the gathering Sarkar said, “Across the nation a hatred have been generated by communal power that are trying to enter in Tripura too. But till day Tripura has set example of democracy”.
CM however also cried over the cancellation of his Independence Day by DD and AIR.
“The situation across the country is very uneasy, undemocratical that has snatched also Chief Ministers' rights to address the nation”, Sarkar added.
