Sonamura, August 10 (TIWN): One woman raped by a CPIM worker at Manarchawk village in front of her husband Sri Lalmohan Barman in presence of three other culprits. It happened last night at 9.30pm. Both of wife and husband including 5 years old son were grievously injured and they are under treatment at Dhanpur hospital which falls under Sonamura police station. BJP workers rushed to the hospital, told to the reporters that the victims family is BJP party worker. To suppress the rising of BJP in Dhanpur Assembly Constituency area of Chief Minister Manik Sarkar , the CPIM cadres targeting the BJP families in general during post election violence. Sub Divisional police officer Ashok Kumar Sinha rushed to the spot to control the troubled situation.
As the rape claimed, no name mentioned in the news to conceal the identity of the victim.
