AGARTALA, Sep 9 (TIWN): CPI-M State Secretary Bijan Dhar has strongly opposed the talks about replacing Manik Sarkar from CM candidate.

“Recently a rumour has been spread about whether Manik Sarkar will be the CM candidate for the next election or not. But why is this question coming ? As far as Manik Sarkar is healthy enough he will be the Chief Minister candidate of CPI-M", said Dhar.

“There is no personally to challenge Manik Sarkar till day. Moreover, what is the need of replacing him when he is healthy and the current Chief Minister ?”, said Dhar.

“CPI-M has no internal clash among its members. Such clashes had disturbed the Congress party and that’s the reason today Congress has been ruined. But CPI-M’s strength is unique”, said Dhar.
