AGARTALA, Aug 29 (TIWN): Leader of National Commission for Women Sushma Sahu’s visit on June 20 has failed to curb the crime against women in Tripura, even though she telephoned the DGP A K Sukla and gave warning.

However a team of BJP Women Morcha delegates led by Papiya Dutta went to Delhi and met Sushma Sahu; also handed over her the crime records in vivid manner.

But, how far Sahu will be able to diminish Tripura’s crime rate against women only time will speak.

Leader of National Commission for Women Sushma Sahu in her one day visit in Tripura on June 20 had ranked the state 1st in rapes among all Northeast states.
