AGARTALA, Aug 29 (TIWN): Whereas following a 4 hours of hunger strike Tripura Govt has decided to regularize the Forest Dept casual employees, but one will be shocked to know what the forest minister Naresh Jamatia told them before few months.

Naresh Jamatia told the protesters, "Has BJP President Biplab Deb sent you to meet me? Being paid by Tripura Govt everyone is showing agitation against the Govt?"

Tripura irregular employees under Forest Dept in demand of being regularized raised voice before media many times as well as tried to meet the Finance Minister, Chief Minister.

After door to door rejection, once they met the CM also and he promised them to make regular, but again he forgot his promise.

Then multiple blockades, protests were held but nothing had worked out much.

Finally on Tuesday the employees sat in ‘Hunger-Strike-till-Death’ at the Forest Office and then they were regularized.
