AMARPUR, Aug 25 (TIWN): No lack of enthusiasm to observe the auspicious Ganesh-Chaturthi at Amarpur.

At Amarpur Bazaar and various other spots the Ganesh Puja was observed with full devotion.

Ganesh Chaturthi, a great Hindu festival celebrated in honour of the elephant-headed god, is observing on Friday.

For businessmen this is considered as a more auspicious occasion.

However, the Ganesh puja this year has fallen on Aug-24.

Ganesh Chaturthi, also known as Vinayaka Chaturthi is the Hindu festival that reveres god Ganesha.
