AGARTALA, August 8 (TIWN): Kamalpur Court today sent three persons involved in kidnapping a minor girl to police remand for five days. Three persons were arrested on Thursday in connection with the abduction of a 16-year-old girl who was recovered from Ashrampalli Rigadh area under Kumarghat Police Station yesterday at night around 12 am.

As per the report, the commuters heard a reverberation from inside an Alto car standing by the road side at Ashrampalli Rigadh area bearing number TR02-E-0737. They immediately called the police. Soon after getting the news, ASI Moti Malakar, Kumarghat PS along with police personnel rushed to the spot, recovered the girl and seized the car.
