AGARTALA, Aug 13 (TIWN): The final rehearsals for 15th August has been completed allover the state on Sunday led by thousands of school students.

At Agartala Assam Rifles ground and in other subdivisions also the reheasals were done amid cloudy weather, but without any lack of enthusiasm. 

On Saturday, ahead of 71st independence day of country, Border Security Force (BSF) and Boarder Guard Bangladesh (BGB) have exchanged sweets at Akhaura Border.

Along with the nation Tripura will also observe 71st Independence Day on August 15.  Preparation is on the full swing to observe the  Independence Day in great enthusiasm and national fervor.

According to program schedule the day would dawn with special tributes to the freedom fighters for the integrity, solidarity and development of India. The 15th August is a national holiday in India.
