AGARTALA, Aug 9 (TIWN): Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed by NIT Agartala and IIT Chennai.
During the MoU was signed Dr.Gopal Mugeraya Director, NIT Agartala and Dean Alumni Affairs & Institutional Relations. Dr. Prasun Chakraborty remained present.
On behalf of Chennai IIT, Director Bhaskar Ramamurti and Dean (academic) Jagadish Kumar were present.
As per the MoU the students of both Colleges will share knowledge via research, workshop, training etc.
Exchange of students and faculties will also begin as per the MoU.
The chances of direct admission for P.hd after degree will be eased so far, said the press release of NIT Agartala.
In the running year of 2017-18 NIT Agartala's 7 students also took admission for P.hd at IIT Chennai from various streams of Engineering.
