AGARTALA, Aug 5 (TIWN): After Congress and BJP leaders had visited the SSA teachers' hunger strike at Orient Chowmuhani, on Saturday IPFT leader N C Debbarma has made a visit there.

After many SSA teachers fell sick on Thursday night and the Secretary Bastab Debbarma was shifted at IGM hospital NC Debbarma meet them and took notes of their allegation.

The SSA teachers are in hunger strike since 5 days in demand of regularization.

But the state govt has strictly opposed to regularize them and on Thursday evening holding a press conference, Education Minister Tapan Chakraborty said that regularizing them is not possible and the protest has turned almost a political move.

However, N C Debbarma meeting the youths said that he would take the matter to higher authorities that has turned a burning issue for the Northeast state Tripura.
