AGARTALA / BISHALGARH, Aug 5 (TIWN): A minor girl who is deaf and dumb, also physically challenged was brutally raped by his neighbour on Thursday night in Bishalgarh.

The rapist is a father of two children age around 35. By profession he is  a farmer named Ratan Das.

On Thursday night, when the victim's parents were outside home,  other members of the house were busy to prepare dinner.

Taking the chance, the culprit Ratan Das entered her room and raped her.

Suddenly, the victim's sister-in-law entered the room but the rapist escaped throwing her from bed. She was heavily  injured when the rapist was trying to escape.

The victim was given two stitches on her face.

An FIR has been lodged on Saturday, although the culprit is still in hide.
