AGARTALA, Aug 5 (TIWN): Very clear cut response has been given by bTripura BJP President Biplab Deb on Friday evening when asked about MLAs 'late joining'. Media asked him whether BJP earlier had set a deadline of May-31 for any opposition leaders to join the party, Biplab Deb replied, "Yes that was the deadline. If they could come before 3 months then they could contribute more and do more for the people of Tripura. However, lately but good sense has led them to join BJP". "BJP is extra ordinary party, doesn't believe in stereotype. It's not that for whole life you have to be strict to one party, but the people would know which party will bring development in state".

"Nothing is bad in their joining as the people who joined earlier from Subol Bhowmik to Ratan Chakraborty, Surajit Dutta, Kalyani Roy : they know what is BJP", said Deb.

However, preparation on peak to welcome the new leaders. Already another Congress MLA Ratan Lal Nath has openly travelled with Sunil Deodhar, Biplab Deb and other BJP leaders. Also a meeting was held among the leaders at the Krishnanagar party office on Thursday evening.

"Centering on a single party and blindly voting for a party for whole life can not be developmental agenda. So everyone is welcome in BJP and we believe when the motive is good the result will be same", said Deb.

Biplab Deb also signaled about CPI-M MLAs' joining in BJP before the Election.
