AGARTALA, Aug 4 (TIWN): In an open move with Congress MLA Ratan Lal Nath, BJP State President Biplab Deb, State Observer Sunil Deodhar have visited SSA teachers on the 4th day of Hunger Strike led by contractual SSA teachers at Orient Chowmuhani in demand of regularization. Addressing media, Biplab Deb said, "This is really shame, when other states including Assam, Manipur, Nagaland have regularized the SSA teachers, but Tripura Govt has not regularized them yet. What BJP will do with SSA teachers, we made our stand clear long back, but via media I like to tell CM Manik Sarkar to regularize the SSA teachers on the urgent basis and not to wait for more 6 months when BJP will come in power". "We do not care about Congress, Communists' comments as they will be vanished soon, but BJP is urging the state govt to regularize the teachers now", said Deb.

Along with Sunil Deodhar Biplab Deb and Ratan Lal other BJP members also visited the SSA teachers.

Biplab Deb's visit has fell as a bomb in Melarmath as already both Congress and BJP have visited the SSA teachers, but CPI-M neither can visit the teachers not they can sit silently. However, source said that dais is getting ready by CPI-M to accuse BJP for inspiring the SSA teachers for sitting in Hunger Strike.

Ratan Lal Nath said, "Truth is truth. In Congress era also funds came, but no calculation the central made. But now it's tough time to deal with the centre after BJP's came in power".

SSA teachers on Aug 1 have sat in hunger strike demanding their regularization-notification on Tuesday. While sitting in hunger strike the teachers said that they are ready to die for their demands. The main question they raised was, why instead of showing them regular to the central govt, the notification has not been released officially to the teachers ? A huge number of hunger strikers have sat in strike demanding for their rights. 

"We deeply believe State Govt was never refused by the Central regarding our regularization. SSA although a Central Project but every months Tripura Govt is grabbing regular basis salaries from the Centre since 2010-11, whereas it's not regularizing the teachers in the state. We have all proofs but Education Minister held his press meet without well preparation", said teachers sat in Hunger Strike.
