AGARTALA, August 4, (TIWN): State government’s recruitment process in IAS officer, is totally opposed by state TCS association. AS per the association the process of IAS officer recruitment in state level is non ethical.
According to high official, there is a misunderstanding creates in the process of IAS officer recruitment between State government and TCS association. And standing on that current situation, TCS association is going to oppose the total process. One high official form TCS association given writing to the state governments Chief Secretary, and request him to stop the recruitment process immediately.
According to the officials, state government does not follow any rules in recruitment of IAS officer. And as a result, government takes another step to recruitment of another two IAS officer for the State. Government always tries to justify only old rules, and therefore TCS association opposes the issue.
Government recruited only outside cadres for IAS post, but state government denying local Officers. Though they still have the quality for the said post. In recruitment process of IAS, there is a law under 9 (1)act, that is if the state government does not find out any suitable cadres for the said post in his own state, in that point of time, government may hired outside cadres from that vacant post, but it may only for three months and not more than that. And it is totally on condition basis.
And if the government, find out the right cadres in that mean time, in that such cases, the hired cadres must go back to his or her own stations. But the state government never follows the same, and every time government do the same, and follows their own rules. And that is why TCS officers still undergo from that worst situation.
According to TCS association, they have the quality for IAS officers post, but government fully denying them, and again government trying to hired more two non TCS cadres for that said post.
