AGARTALA, August 4, (TIWN): An uncertainty condition occurred in Tripura Veterinary College, this year in student’s admission process. VCI (Veterinary Council of India) denying to providing any approval for Tripura Veterinary College. Now students are worried about their future.
According to high officials, after visiting on state Veterinary College, VCI was not happy with the performance of state government and also about the infrastructure of Veterinary College.
High officials informed, that if VCI (Veterinary Council of India) is not provide any approval for students admission in state, then it should be a doubtful condition for students future in Tripura Veterinary College. Reportedly, in 2010, 11 and 2012 VCL is not provide any approval to state government, if the same is happen, then it must be a ‘Terrible condition’ for Tripura Veterinary College and its future . Reportedly, with in this period few faculties are departure the college. And the management of Veterinary College is not so much happy, with the actions of State Government.
According to high officials, in 2009 VCL given a conditional approval to the state government, and in that condition, College Infrastructure and subject wise faculty recruitment. But in the year of 2010 when VCL visited in Veterinary College, they were not happy with State Government performances, and as a result, students cannot take admission in veterinary college. The same thing happens in 2011 and 2012 also. But in previous year somehow state government collect a conditional approval from VCI. Council approved only 25 student’s admission in previous year, but only 12 students are enrolled in previous year. Now state government decides that, if VCI does not provide any approval for the current year, then college will continue with 12 students.
