AGARTALA, July 30 (TIWN): Protesting against the recent Gandhi Memorial Dismantled by MP Govt at Madhya Pradesh, Tripura Congress Unit NSUI held protest on Sunday.

Along with the whole nation, Congress's protest went via a silent agitation by covering their mouth with black cloths.

For 1 an half  hours the agitation went on at Circuit house, near the Gandhi idol.

The Gandhi memorial had been installed by Gandhian Kashinath Trivedi in 1965, who had brought the ashes of Gandhi, his wife and his secretary to Barwani.
