UDAIPUR, July 28 (TIWN): CPI-M's pre-poll organized violence paralyzed College education across Tripura. Tight security has been deployed at Udaipur subdivision located Netaji Subash Vidyaniketan on Friday, while BJP Yuva Morcha members were leading a protest rally in the College premises, protesting against alleged attack of SFI upon ABVP members studying in the College. On the other side, SFI has brought serious allegation against ABVP leader Dipankar Debnath saying on July-26 Dipankar had assaulted a girl student in class room that led the whole chaos. Against ABVP member Dipankar Debnath FIR also has lodged; whereas ABVP has also lodged FIR against 7 SFI leaders for attacking Dipankar in a closed room and hitting him physically. A massive rally with above 300 Yuva Morcha supporters led by their leader Rana Ghosh held in the College, holding BJP's flag in hands. Tight security has been deployed in Udaipur College as earlier also in Congress era many dangerous clashes could witness especially during College Election times.
Principal Dr. Sanjay Roy is avoiding the media to address about the situation right now but said 'a committee has been formed in this regard'. It can be recalled that on July 14, the academic session of this year has began with a fresh clash among these two party wings.
A clash was reported from BBMC College on Friday when it was the first academic session of the College. The report from the College informed that on the first day of the academic session, along with SFI this time ABVP also went to collect the membership which vexed the SFI members emerging a clash among ABVP and SFI. ABVP members were also injured and they displayed their injuries to the photographers. This clash not only feared the new students but also generated much anger among the local people at there.
However, present at Udaipur, tight security has been provided under SP Saraswati Rai. SDPO Rjendra Dutta and R K Pur police visited the College in the protest hours.
