AGARTALA, July 27 (TIWN): During counter-terrorism periods in Tripura, many people were de-sheltered from their homes in Tripura, but they were promised of getting full compensation and rehabilitation.

Alleging the 'Udbhastus' (refugees) till day are deprived of their rights, the 'Udbhastu Unnoyon Committee' has raised 3 demands as :

1. During terrorist attacks, the refugees should be given govt-recognition,

2. Proper rehabilitation,

3. Rs. 5 lakhs of compensation should be provided to them.

On August 9, the 'Udbhastu Unnoyon Committee' will conduct their 3rd general conference at Muktadhara from 9 AM.
