AGARTALA , July 26 (TIWN) : Giving considerable importance to the Assembly Poll 2018 BJP is planning to bring its star campaigner Prime Minister Narendra Modi to address the rallies to be organized by the party in Tripura . A highly placed sourcesinformed TIWN on Tuesday night ," In September Prime Minister Narendra Modi is almost certain to visit Tripura on a official visit in September . And during this visit BJP will organize a public rally anywhere at Dharmanagar or at Agartala . And from this rally BJP will officially launch its Assembly Poll campaign for 2018 . " And the sources further informed that BJP national leadership including BJP President Amit Shah is very keen to come to the power in Tripura , especially after the party has been getting positive response from all corners of the state .
And according to BJP's own assessment the party has a very bright chance of snatching the power from CPI-M . Getting the internal reports BJP President Amit Shah is learnt to have instructed Tripura BJP unit to Go For Win .
BJP is fully trying to cash on the popularity of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the development of North-East to win in the crucial 2018 . Political analysts have already predicted that 2018 Asembly Poll is going to be the toughest challenge for CPI-M since 1993 as BJP is very keen to come to the power in all the states in the North Eastern states. The back to back win in Assam and Manipur surely gave the much needed confidence to BJP national leadership .
It is learnt that BJP national President Amit Shah has full confidence on State BJP Observer Sunil Deodhar and state President Biplab Deb. It is to be mentioned here that Bipab Deb and Sunil Deodharwere given the charges of Tripura after being suggested from the RSS Headquarters . Both Deodhar and Biplab are closed to RSS Nagpur lobby .
Meanwhile it is learnt that PM Modi will come to Tripura for four times to campaign for the assembly poll. And during these visits BJP is likely to organize five to six rallies at different districts preferably at Agartala , Dharmanagar, Udaipur , ShantirBazar/Sabroom , Teliamura, Gandachhera etc. BJP expects massive turnout of public in these rallies , TIWN sources added.
Apart from Modi BJP's high profile VVIP campaigners , who are almost certain to campaign in Tripura , include Home Minister Rajnath Singh , Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu , Finance Minister ArunJetley , UP CM Yogi Adityanath, MP CM ShivRaj Singh Chowhan , Assam CM SarbanandaSonowal , Maharshtra CM DevendraFadnavish , Union Minister SmritiIrani , MoS Babul Supriyaect . More over , BJP national President Amit Shah will also visit more than three times and is expected to address as many as four to five rallies.
According to highly placed sources Amit Shah has already prepared a list of 40 leaders who will be campaigning in Tripura from first week of October to the end of January . BJP Organizing Secretary Ram Madhav and Assam PWD Minister HimantaBiswa Sharma will be given the charges to over see the assembly poll preparations.
A team of RSS core group will soon visit Tripura to finalize poll strategy . It is learnt that a team of 350 RSS hardcore volunteers from different parts of the country will be sent to Tripura and the team will start its operation Cleansing CPI-M from the last week of September .
In 2018 assembly poll BJP is likely to take advantage on the following issues :-
- Massive corruption in MGNREGA, PMGSY, NRHM etc
2)Gross irregularities in 10323 terminated teachers' jobs
3)Huge deprivation being imposed upon the state govt employees and pensioners
4)Break down of law and order situation
5)Increasing number of rapes and violence against women
At the same time a close source to Amit Shah revealed that in the election manifesto BJP is likely to give the following promises to the people of Tripura :-
1)Implementation of 7th Pay Commission
2)Regularization of all fixed pay employees
3)Regularization of contractual employees working in centrally sponsored schemes like SSA , RMSA,NRHM,MGNREGA etc
4)Massive development of road and rail connectivity
5)Modernization of existing in-fra-structure
6)Development of already crippled health sector .
Thus, it is clear that with the VVIP campaigners including PM Modi coming BJP is likely to take upper hand of CPI-M from the mid-September or early October challenging the continuous rule of the so called honest and transparent CM Manik Sarkar's dynasty .
