SONAMURA, July 25 (TIWN): When the whole state knows about the rampant illegal activities via Sonamura borders, instead of protesting on such issues, state Congress has targeted BSF for generating tension at Sonamura. Congress, CPI-M's friendship has turned a much believed story in Tripura ahead of the poll and from strike to other issues, how Congress is helping CPI-M with Anti-BJP propaganda it's well known. At Sonamura from Ganja plantation to fundamentalists presence have been overlooked just for votebanks and CPI-M's party funds under Minister Sahid Chowdhury, even including the Dhanpur areas under CM Manik Sarkar. However, Congress has placed a deputation to the SDM Sumit Lodh on Tuesday following a massive rally amidst weak party organizational strength. Congress raised question, why BSF locks the gates in the evening opposite side of the fencing where the Indian farmers cultivate ?
Congress also brought allegation, BSF abuses women and try to create communal clashes.
However, locals have alleged just to save the vote banks at Border area Congress is playing with go-rakhsha like terms and accusing BSF.
Such political games against Country's border security force can be termed as 'Anti-Nationalist' as Congress also questioned upon the tight-security over there !
Is well-known chapter for Sonamura area that how Bangladeshis and People of Tripura pass through the border with exchange of little money. It’s Tripura Sport Minister Sahid Chowdhury’s area, but being the Minister from Minority he is misusing his position and turning the whole Sonamura, Jatrapur areas as Islamic Jihadis Residing Zone.
