AGARTALA, July 22 (TIWN): With a heavy relief for the passengers in Tripura, the express and local trains have been kicked off a fresh journey on Saturday. The rail service that was paralyzed by Tripura tribal autonomous party IPFT on July 10 in demand of a separate state named Tipraland led by Tribal leader NC Debbarma cut the railway service of the state. Talking to rail officials present in the Agartala Railway station, they said, "Since the morning the trains have started in full wave. From Udaipur also a train had arrived in Agartala railway station in the morning with a good number of passengers, whereas Kanchajunga train also geared back. Like the normal schedule the trains will run on the tracks from now, without any hurdle, said the official. The damaged part led by IPFT youths also have been resumed. Police, Govt officials were seen at Agartala Railway station, said that Railway Officials will visit today and thus all had been seen busy to set the railway station with 'No Parking' signs, cleaning etc. Train 55679 train after coming from Udaipur left towards Northern Tripura's Dharmanagar Railway Station.

Train 55663 left for Silchar at 11 AM and other trains as per schedule.

Allegation was raised by the oppositions for the mute role of the state govt led the blockade to turn a critical issue for the state. When Railway has been paralyzed in Tripura, the left front govt was utter silent on this issue, marking as dark days for Tripura's history. Surprisingly, Chief Minister Manik Sarkar said, “Rail authority should think how to resume the service as rail tracks are very less and after Jirania also the service can be given a kick”.

But no train had run practically and finally after 2 days of the blockade, the passengers were seen waiting for train.
