AGARTALA, July 18 (TIWN): Marking history Tripura Communists are facing the jolts from the opposition power when Tripura Chief Minister Manik Sarkar since the morning has been locked at his own residence, as the opposition BJP has blocked the all ways of CM's entrance / exit. Tripura Chief Minister Manik Sarkar and his family are unable move from the residence with the massive protest of BJP sat in front of his house and shouting 'Manik Sarkar Hay Hay'. Calling IPFT's blockade at National Highway as illegal Tripura BJP Observer Sunil Deodhar said, "This protest is fully illegal and going without permission. How without any permission state's National Highway, Railway can be blocked like this"? Asking about Kiren Rijuju's meeting with IPFT, the BJP leader said, "Unless and until the blockade is withdrawn, no Central Minister to meet them as per my knowledge". When media asked him, 'IPFT has been strict to the demand of meeting Central Minister', Deodhar said, "Let them be. But unless and until IPFT withdraws blockade, no minister will meet them as the blockade is illegal".

Asking about what is the current situation, Deodhar said, "Situation is nothing but we will not allow the CM to move. He is enjoying already when the state is suffering. So, let him take rest".

"This is nothing but a joint activity by CPI-M & IPFT. As it has been known that IPFT took no permission for the blockade, then where was Tripura Govt's intelligence ? They are total failure in intelligence to stop the illegal blockade", Deodhar added.

"Now the Govt's condition is like that neither it can not bear the pain nor it can express the truth. The pain is like that", said Deodhar.

Being asked by media whether CM should resign or not, Deodhar said, "I have already demanded his resignation. The moment he called Rajnath Ji and told him to handle the situation, I said clearly that Rajnath Singh can not intervene in the law and order of the state unless and until there is presidential rule. So, if CM can not handle the situation he should resign and asked for the Presidential rule in Tripura".

BJP further raised slogan of 'Home Minister Hay Hay, Manik Sarkar Hay Hay' with the blockade continued since 6 AM.
