AGARTALA, July 17 (TIWN): Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangha (BMS) on Monday blocked Paradise Chowmuhani road in demand of withdrawal of IPFT's blockade at Baramura that is going on in demand of a separate state.

If the blockade will not stop at Baramura, the Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangha will block roads across here and there in the state.

The blockade over Tripura Railway, National Highway has been continued since 8 days long by IPFT, a tribal based separatist party in the state.

A fresh report from Champaknagar area on Monday said that till now a good number of IPFT boys are blocking over the road.

From July 10 this road blockade had began under NC Debbarma's leadership at Baramura.

The road blockade was begun with the demand of a separate land Tipraland since last Monday morning and denied to withdraw the strike unless state is separated.

A meeting although was held at the Secretariat on Sunday in the presence of IPFT and Tripura Govt officials but no solution was reported following the half an hour meeting.

After the meeting IPFT Chief NC Debbarma said that without Tipraland demand is fulfilled, IPFT to continue the blockade.
