'Utilize this Tripura-Land', CM tells students

AGARTALA, July 15 (TIWN): When State is undergoing the demand-roars for a separate state "Tripura Land", led by Tripura separatist group IPFT, Chief Minister Manik Sarkar told the students of Ramthakur College to more focus on the facilities, education and establishing themselves on its Golden Jubilee celebration.

Eventhough Manik Sarkar didn't utter a single word for IPFT and National Highway blockade but claiming Tripura's Higher Education a huge resource said, 'Students should utilize this developed Education infrastructure in state which came out of zero background. Without Nripen Chakraborty, Dasarath Deb you can not write Tripura History. At the beginning the professors who started these Colleges didn't even get their salaries properly but they worked for the society, which we are having today".

"Today forgetting everything people have become selfish, self centric shouting go back, go back.... ", CM added.

"In compare to our times, Education has turned much easier to achieve now. From medical college to Law, Engineering all we have if we really want to develop ourselves and focus into study....In Colleges, Schools subjects have also been minimized but what is going on across the state it's not right", CM added.

CM further told the students to focus on study for their career. However, about the NH's paralyzed situation, Sarkar kept himself tightlipped amidst allegation came against CPI-M led by him for spreading violence among tribal/ bengalies since 1993 like slow-poisoning.
