AGARTALA, July 14 (TIWN): CPI-M State Secretary Bijan Dhar has strongly opposed the Autonomous State Council proposed by State BJP & Central Minister.

"There is no mention about Autonomous State Council in constitution. However, if BJP is talking about a independent State Council, then we are totally against it", said Dhar.

"There is no difference between a Separate State and a State Council. So, CPI-M doesn't support it", Dhar added.

Bijan Dhar also asked media to collect books from ICA Dept to know how far development CPI-M has done in ADCs.
