AGARTALA, July 13 (TIWN): One slogan of peace will not be workable this time, as BJP continues to remind the public about 100 % implementation of 7th pay commission in Tripura if BJP comes in power.

In this regard a pamphlet has been distributed among the common people and will reach out 1.5 lakhs of Govt Employees and also to the pensioners of state Tripura.

Earlier, demanding 7th Pay Commission, opposition BJP continued protests across Tripura.

Deputations were placed before all the SDMs of all subdivisions in the state with the issue of delaying 7th Pay Commission's implementation by left front govt.

This move was completed as per pre-schedule after BJP completed its ‘Signature Campaigning’ on May-24 for all the Govt Employees in support of 7th Pay Commission.

BJP State Observer Sunil Deodhar in this regard said. ‘I had promised the employees that if BJP comes in power, then within 6 months 7th Pay Commission will be implemented, then State President Biplab Deb after discussing with the Central Govt announced it with 3 months, but new circulation has come that after the first cabinet meeting the 7th pay commission will be implemented.

The 7th pay commission has been the long cherished dream for all Govt employees in Tripura, but after 4th pay commission, no pay commission was implemented in Tripura".
