AGARTALA, July 13 (TIWN): As after separation Tipraland will be all in all dominated by tribals in the ADC converted new state Tipraland, naturally the state people will lost their reservation quota and the reservation will be shifted to the other section of people living in the ADC. From tax to 'no-reservation' all will have to be faced by the people living there. In this condition question raising, as the imaginary Tipra Land logically do not have any reservation quota for the tribals, what plans and projects NC Debbarma led IPFT have undertaken to boost fast-development there ? Railway, industry, transport---to get them into a new shape, separatists will destroy many generations. Apart from that what have those tribal leaders thought for industrial growth that can give the youths job opportunities. As the land’s majority will be tribals so automatically reservation quotas will be removed and given to Bengalies although in the plain area's citizens the tribals will have reservation. But ofcourse the persons who will be benefited are the political leaders as they will enjoy the public money and some Central funds.

Source said that although the Twipra Land demand is there, but the leaders have not constituted any plan and economic policy or agricultural plan, school, education development for that land. As a result 2 / 3 generation will live under poverty there and without reservation the Twipra Land youths can not get facilities in various IAS, TCS exams and joint entrances.

Without clarifying those issues, demand for Tipraland is going high at Baramura with slogans of 'No Tipraland, No Rest'. On Thursday also IPFT have kept the road blocked not allowing vehicles to pass over there. However, heli-riding Ministers having no problem for transport in that area, triggering resentments among IPFTs as they are unable to withdraw the strike.
