AGARTALA, July 12 (TIWN): Slamming Tripura Chief Minister Manik Sarkar who is also holding chair of the Home Minister, BJP Women Morcha on Wednesday in a press meet called him a blind man ruling the state like Dritarashtra.

Like a blind ruler Manik Sarkar is showering sympathy for rapists, murderers just because they are CPI-M cadre.

The press conference led by Women leader Kalyani Roy and Women Morcha President Papiya Dutta was referred with the rape and murder of a senior citizen on Monday afternoon who was also one BJP leader's mother, resident of Chamanu area, under Manikpur.

"Murders after rape incidents are taking a serious turn in Tripura due to Manik Sarkar's blind support behind these. Surprising matter is that in any of the cases, till day Chief Minister has not visited the crime spots, neither he felt it necessary to talk to the victim families ", said Kalyani Roy.

"After 10th July's incident out of BJP's pressure, although police arrested a person, but behind such a heinous crime a single person can not be responsible", said Roy.

"We demand the proper investigation in the case and to finish the hearing procedure through fastback court", Roy added.  

The Women Morcha further slammed the Women Commission members of CPI-M for their blind activities in the state, who most of the times remain busy with other state's issues.
