AGARTALA, July 12 (TIWN): School Education Departement led by Tapan Chakraborty is leading the department towards a serious crisis again after its humiliating defeat in the 10323 terminated teacher case. After losing the case in the Supreme Court , which on 29th May cancelled the SLP filed by state govt upholding the High Court's verdict given on 7th May 2014 , state govt is again playing a gamble with the emotions of the 10323 terminated teachers. However, in June this year the state govt created some mysteious 13000 Non-Teaching posts in order to rehabilitate these terminated 10323 teachers'whose recruitment process was itself termed as Unconstitutional by the Division Bench of the Agaratala High Court headed by the then Chief Justice Deepak Kumar Gupta.

Now with the ongoing process of state govt's motive is being questioned from the very beginning as the state govt made teaching experience of 5 years and 3 years mandatory as requisite qualification for these posts. Under pressure from all corners state govt ultimately was forcedto make ammendment in Recruitment procedures and stated that those teachers working in various govt recognized schools(aided or unaided ) having teaching experience of 5 years and 3 years will be illigible to apply for these posts.

But the 700 computer faculties who served already for more than 5 years were not allowed to submit their applications . The last date for ubmission of application was 10th of July 2017 . When the Comouter Faculties went to the Office of the Ditrict Education Officers(DEO) , DEO or Deputy Deirectors refused to put their counter sign on the Experience Certificate issued to the Comouter Faculties by the Headmasters/Headmistresses of different High and Higher Secondary Schools . The putting of counter sign was made comulsory by the state govt although in the Recruitment Rules there was no mention of such mysterious instruction.

A leader(unwilling to reveal identity ) of All Tripura Comuter Shikshak Sangha told this correspndent on Sunday night ," In spite of giving Legal Notice to the Director of School Education and Deputy Directors, the applications were not received. The Deputy Directors specifically told us that they have been instructed not to receive applications of Comouter faculties. This is purely illegal and uncnstitutional . We will have a meeting at Agartala on Friday morning. In this meeting we will take the final decision about legal procedures. "

The leaders also said that state govt is intentionally creating problems . Now the Govt's motive is clear that School Education Department itself is inviting legal problems so that the appointment process is itself cancelled by the High Court so that it does not have to face more legal crisis ahead of 2018 Assembly Poll .

It is learnt that the Lawyer Siraj Ali has assued the Comuter Faculties that the entire recruitment process will be withheld once the Case is filed in the High Court . And accordingly , the members of All Tripura Comouter Shikshak Sangha will hold a meeting on Friday to take a firm decision .

If everything goes acordingly , 700 computer faculties will file case in the High Court either on Monday or Tuesday . From the on going situation it becomes clear that the School Education Department itself is leading towards major legal crisis in the mysterious 13000 Non-Teaching posts.
