AGARTALA, July 8 (TIWN): Giving a jolt to School Education Department regarding the recruitment process of 13000 Non-Teaching posts 700 Computer Faculties on Friday sent Legal Notice to the Director of School Education complaining against the non-cooperation of Deputy Directors of Education Department. On 27th June 2017 School Education Department published advertisement for the recruitment of Non-Teaching posts in the following categories vide No.F.1(1-20)SE/-E(N/G)2017 : 1)Academic Counsellor 2)Student Counselor 3)School Library Assistant 4)Hostel Warden 5)Programe Assistant. For all these non-teaching posts State Govt,violating the guidelines of HRD Minstry has made compulsory teaching experience of 5years and three years respectively as essential qualification for these posts.
But when the computer faculties having five to seven years of teaching experience and requisit qualification try to submit application for such posts, very cunningly School Education Department , creates problems so that these faculties cant submit application.
Protesting against this illegal step of Deputy Directors of different districts 700 comuter faculties on Friday sent Legal Notice to the Director of School Education threatening him to face further legal process if these faculties can not submit application before 10th of July 2017.
One faculty namely Raju Sukla Das of Udaipur was appointed as Computer Instructor under ICT project of Govt of Indian recruited by SCERT in the Khilpara H S School of Udaipur on 01/03/2008 and continued his service upto 28/02/2013 and again he was appinted in the same post in Pitra H S School on 17/06/2013 and contined his service upto 31/01/2015 .
Accordingly both Headmasters gave Raju teaching experience certificate like other computer faculties but when he approached before Deputy Director,School Education of Gomati District , his application was not received as the Deputy Director refused to put his countersign in the experience certificate as it was made mandatory by the Education Department in this present case.
After faiing to pursue the Deputy Directors in humble manner Computer faculties met in a meeting held at Agartala on last Sunday and unanimously decided to fight against this illegal process of state govt . And the Legal Notice is said to be the beginjing of legal procedures likely to be involed in this case.
Speaking to TIWN on Friday night Compute Faculties' State Committee leaders expressed ," State govt made a critical plan not to receive any application from Comouter Faculties by asking Deputy Deirectors not to put counter signature in the experience certificate so that it can say that none of the faculties appraoched to submit application although we have requisite teachig experience. Realizing this heinous plan of the state govt we have been forced to send this legal notice. If we cannot submit application with in 10th of July 2017 the state govt will face the consequences like it had in 10323 tearminated teachers case. "
Soon after getting the legal notice School Education Department decided that all Offices under School Education Department including DEO , IS will remain open on Saturday though it is Second Saturday . Thus, it is clear the much before this said recruitment state govt is under tremendous pressure.
