AGARTALA, July 6 (TIWN): Asked by Tripura media, Union Minister of State of Human Resource Development Dr Mahendra Nath Pande about the 'age-relaxation' issue of 10,323 teachers, said, "No Govt is bigger than Supreme Court of India, neither MHRD too'.
'Till Supreme Court passed the judgment, we had been permitting the teachers to do jobs, but after SC's order nothing can be done', said the Minister.
'Everyone is bound to follow Supreme Court's order including the Central govt', said Pande.
'A central govt will never interfere in State Govt's decision on anything', Pande added.
However, in Tripura CM to his Minister and Party Secretary all are saying that SC’s verdict is inhuman; even Badal Choudhury said, “SC judges are politically biases”, but none of them accepted that the Education Dept was guilty.
MP Jitendra Chowdhury raised the issue of 'Relaxation in academic qualification by the Govt' and asked Central Govt via social media to show Achche Din '.
