DHARMANAGAR, July 4 (TIWN): In demand of diminishing water crisis and constant power cut problem, locals blocked road on Monday at Dharmanagar's Charubasa area.

This unannounced road blockade caused heavy problems for the common people and daily goers.

Reportedly, they had 2 demands : one is to solve power cut problem and another is to diminish the water scarcity in their area.

It's worthy to mention here that clean, safe drinking water is scarce in state but most of the rural people in hilly Tripura don't have access to it and power cut is a regular part of the common people; although in the main city the problem is little less.
