AGARTALA, June 27 (TIWN): Tripura Trinamool MLA Sudip Barman has slammed the ruling Govt for its conspiracy against media.
Reminding Bengali leading newspaper Pratibadi Kalam's shutting down with DM's notice has been considered as a 'Black-Day' by this MLA at Party Head Quarter.
Pratibadi Kalam was the leading newspaper of Tripura that was exposing various heinous crimes of the society from hospital to schools, from Secretariat to news media.
But on July 24, without any prior notice District Magistrate had called a ban to the paper.
It was the day when Pratibadi Kalam unfolded one blind student's murder case at Govt blind school in the morning paper.
Without Pratibadi Kalam, Anuara murder case was tough for media to follow for a long and all these turned heavy upon the ruling Govt that was changing the perspective of people against the ruling CPI-M.
Earlier also Pratibadi Kalam was attacked and the Editor Anal Roy Chowdhury was given life threatening.
However, in Pratibadi Kalam many youths are also working when unemployment is the most burning issue of state Tripura.
