'None of Under Graduate Teachers out of 10,323 passed Class-12 with 50 % marks with B.Ed' : RTI

AGARTALA, June 27 (TIWN): When Tripura Govt is trying to impose the public to believe that due to lack of qualified candidates 10,323 teachers were recruited beyond rules, but RIT has revealed the quality of qualification of 10,323 teachers.

The RTI was filled up by Opposition MLA Sudip Barman asking certain questions.

In reply Tarani Sarkar, the Officer of Special Duty for Director of the Elementary Education said that whereas  total 4612 candidates were appointed as Under Graduate Teachers, 3165 of them were only Madhyamik Passed.

68 candidates those who had appeared for the post of UGT passed class-XII with 50 % marks (but no B.Ed).

Whereas total 1447 UGT out of 10323 were appointed who passed class-XII without 50 % marks, 1379 UGT out of 10,323 teachers had been appointed with 50 % marks.

Finally, none of them had 50 % and B.Ed qualification both.
