AGARTALA, July 25 (TIWN): Tripura's most popular and widely circulated daily newspaper PRATIBADI-KALAM's overnight banning has upset a major section of readers, the Battala hawkers said on Sunday.
This sudden news has also shocked the expectation of daily news readers and also hawkers faced heavy losses in the morning time due to the pause in the publication.
Due to some legal issues, this temporary suspension was caused.
The paper was responsible for various exclusive news publications as well as exposing of corruptions including ruling, opposition parties of the state.
It was Pratibadi Kalam's group, who could publish the inside story of Airport and which political leaders are meeting whom. It was that paper which disclosed how arsenic is killing people mixed in Tripura's water and Pratibadi Kalam also showed Tripura Govt wrong calculation in latest pay-review.
From smuggling to dangerous crimes all have been exposed by Pratibadi Kalam since many years. But the sudden ban to it has upset the hawkers as well as the common readers of the state, when election is knocking the door.
Moreover, a huge number of journalists, photographers are working in this print media house, when unemployment issue is burning the state.
