AGARTALA, June 25 (TIWN): Muslims in Tripura have begun preparations for the celebration to mark the end of the Ramadan fasting.

Commercial activities are in top gear in the areas like Sonamura, Melagharh and Agartala.

People at Sonamura's market were busy buying and selling essential items, such as food items and drinks, in bulk and retail in preparation for the Sallah.

Eid 2017 has also called for a sumptuous spread of delicacies to be adorned dinner table.

This sweet treat is usually prepared in the form of a cake and may differ in shape and form across the state.
