AGARTALA, July 24 (TIWN): CBI to begin interrogation of former Rose Valley agent, Tripura Chief Minister’s right hand Minister Bijita Nath on June 29,2017 at Minister’s Agartala residence as informed by CBI’s East Zone HQ Kolkata office in an official communication to State Govt. Manik Sarkar’s corrupt empire, Ministers involvement in Multivcrore Chit Fund scam finally is being investigated, likely arrests like West Bengal Transport Minister Madan Mitra in involvement in multicrore Chit Fund scam. CBI East Zone hit Tripura Social Welfare Minister Bijita Nath with Rose Valley scam charges and found her active involvement in Rose Valley pozi scam. In a letter Bijita Nath was informed by CBI (Kolkata Office), "Whereas it appears that you are acquainted with the circumstances of the case noted below.... which I (CBI) am now investigating in Chap-XII of the case of criminal procedure, you are hereby require to make yourself available on June-29 at 10 AM in your official residence located at Agartala for the purpose of answering certain questions relating to the case".

When TIWN asked Bijita Nath over phone she said, "Yes, I also heard about it. If CBI asks I will answer them back".

Nath was in much tensed voice who was talking from North Tripura (most likely to destroy evidences relating to her decades long involvement with Rose Valley Chit Fund scam).

CBI investigation will fulfill long cherished dream of Tripura people that Manik Sarkar and his corrupt Ministers deserve severe Jail time for involvement in various corruptions. Bijita Nath whose qualification is often questions travels via chopper from Dharmanagar to Agartala and but most likely to be arrested by CBI in coming weeks.

CPI-M Govt had done as much as could to hide the facts of Rose Valley from CBI. Various times, answering various questions Tripura Govt had hided the actual figure of the ponzi scam held in Tripura. After Bijita Nath the next figure is Manik Sarkar and Tripura people have their long cherished dreams to see most of these corrupt Ministers, tainted official like S.K.Panda, Bimal Chakraborty, Banamali Sinha, GSG Ayyangar rotting in jail.

After Bijita Nath the next figure is Manik Sarkar and oppositions  have their long cherished dreams to see both of them in jail.

It was on May-6 that raising question on Tripura Govt’s disinterest for CBI inquiry against Rose Valley and other chit fund cases, Amit Shah said, “If the Chief Minister is confident about his being unlinked to this scam, it must call CBI to do proper inquiry against this chit fund scams”. “Communist Govt, better known as poor people’s govt should talk in support of them and chit fund companies looted the poor’s moneys basically. Thus instead of pushing the Centre and involving it with CBI works the ruling party’s works should be observed. If the leaders are confident then, they must call CBI to investigate and to find out the culprits”, Shah told media replying the queries raised at Gitanjali guest house.

Rose Valley is  7 times more ponzi scam than Sarada and country’s highest ever chit fund group, but eventhough opposition party’s raised voice to run direct CBI investigation in Tripura Rose Valley scam, but at the ruling showed never interest in it, rather it preferred Tripura Police, SIT in it.

The opposition parties have time to time complained about Chief Minister  Manik Sarkar’s direct involvement in Rose Valley scam.

On last January 6, as per Tripura Govt’s instruction the depositors had to hand over the original documents of RoseValley to the CID at Agartala Office. However, why the Govt has sought the original documents it’s yet not clear, neither CID disclosing anything regarding this. The hapless customers who lost their all savings in Rose valley company, had queued up in lines for 3/ 4 days at CID Office.

On Jan 21st, 2017 Sadar administration led by DCM Debashish Das had seized all the propertiesunder Sada. Along with that Malabati Tea garden 207 Ekar, Bordowali Flat, Rose Valley Park all were seized all of a sudden and after 11 days the Dharmanagar property was also seized. Then on February 2 at Amarpur and Dharmanagar the same was done. But the most interesting fact is that Tripura Industry and Commerce Dept. still has kept Rose Valley's name among the Bodhjungnagar Industry sectors.

But, after all Rose Valley has remained just as a puzzle in state whereas it's hardly to believe that without political help such fraud companies can be emerged in Tripura. Many experts claimed that RoseValley was born in Tripura but not at West Bengal.

Earlier, Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), which submitted preliminary chargesheet against Rose Valley Group , has estimated the total volume of fraud by the company at Rs 17,000 crore. Investigating into the multi-hundred crore Ponzi scam, the premier probe agency has framed charges against the company’s Chairman Gautam Kundu, Managing Director Shibamoy Dutta and two Directors Ashok Kumar Saha and Ram Lal Goswami.

The CBI radar now awaits to open up the faces of some political players behind the mask. However the listed political leaders in Tripura are likely to be interrogated very soon. The four have been charged under Sections 420/409 and 120 (B) of the Indian Penal Code along with Section 4 and 6 of the Prize Chits and Money Circulation Schemes (Banning) Act.

The investigating agency has indicated in its chargesheet that the company defrauded about Rs 450 crore in Odisha alone. The Rose Valley Group had invested heavily in real estate and infrastructure after mobilising hundreds of crores from thousands of depositors through collective investment schemes from West Bengal, Odisha, Tripura, Assam, Jharkhand and Maharashtra. When its fraud came to fore, Rose Valley’s cheating network was found to be even bigger than the Saradha Group.

In 2008, Minister cum Rose Valley agent Bijita Nath inaugurated the new office building of Rose valley at Dharmanagar and charmed people to deposit money in Rose Valley.

CBI Letter to Minister Bijita Nath for interrogation on June 29,2107 at Agartala

Bengal Minister Madan Mitra was imprisoned for involvement in Saradha scam, the same way Tripura Minister Bijita Nath, CPI-M spoesman Gautam Das, Chief Minister Manik Sarkar also under the radar of the CBI for their involvement with Rose Valley.

In fact, the CBI, Bhubaneswar had arrested Dutta and Saha in September last year and taken the duo on remand to elicit vital details about the Group’s network in the State where the Kolkata-based company had duped investors by establishing 65 branches. Dutta was in charge of operations in West Bengal while Saha, a resident of Agartala, was looking after the Tripura region.

While the promoters of the Rose Valley here in Tripura might be in a long sprint to save their clean image.

Minister Bijita Nath earlier was an agent of the Rose Valley group of company. Therefore it would be wise enough to mention here that the CBI raid here in Tripura might have lead to the actual "kingpin” – Chief Minister Manik Sarkar needs to be in a long sprint to save his clean image.

The Rose Valley Group raised as much as Rs 10,281 crore from investors while Saradha firms had mobilised Rs 2,459 crore. Very recently the opposition leader Sudip Roy Barman who has been demanding many times CBI probe into the chit fund related cases, looks set to make public inputs collected from grievance cell. This may prove fatal for the non banking financial companies who were active at the state once again.

An interesting video where Chief Minister Manik Sarkar promoting Rose Valley business, sitting with Scamster Rose Valley owner Gautam Kundu and welcoming Rose Valley for further business establishments in Tripura.
