AGARTALA, June 15 (TIWN): ABVP members on Thursday said at Press Club that ABVP members were doing similar works that SFIs were doing during admission. But SFI could not take the issue simply and thus clash created, said ABVP Northeast zone Secretary Apasnshu Shekhar Sing.

In this regard ABVP will sit in a meeting and schedule further protests.

On June 13 the clash occurred where Teliamura Mandal Committee President of BJP Pallab Das (34) was injured heavily on head and face. SFI had hot multiple times on his head with bricks. The other injured persons are : Jutan Biswas (18), Nimchan Biswas (18).They are admitted in GB Hospital presently.

 BJP woman leader Kalyani Roy and a lady police constable Rakhi Debnath were also injured.
