AGARTALA, June 10 (TIWN): Tripura Election battleground is heating up as the ruling CPI-M is facing hard time with the rising opposition BJP, RSS’s power in the state. The opposition vote bank division policy is also not at all working by ruling CPI-M this time as just one year ahead of Assembly Election Congress was permanently weaken by forming Trinamool party in Tripura by its MLA. In a such condition naturally a larger section of people are in demand of political-change after 2 decades of a single party’s ruing over Tripura. In this condition continuous tensions are going on across the state. Tension has erupted after a Muslim family was targeted by CPI-M goons at Dharmanagar on Thursday night. The victim was Ariful Islam, the BJP Minority General Secretary of Dist of Tripura. Allegation also raised against CPI-M local supporters for attacking Arikul Islam's wife and other BJP supporters that instigated violence across Northern Tripura. Visiting the spot,Tripura State Observer Sunil Deodhar said, "Whereas Communists always claim that BJP instigate violence, but in Tripura Muslims are frustrated of CPI-M so much that they are joining BJP".

 "The attackers also proceeded with various destructive activities and fully damaged the house, but Communist ruled Police Force have not yet arrested a single person in this connection", said Deodhar. "Muslims' response from State Tripura is huge now amidst Communists constant accusation against BJP for generating religious riots", said.

Deodhar also met SP Manik Das and asked to arrest the culprits soon; otherwise BJP will go in massive protests in coming days. Reportedly, 4 BJP members were injured in this incident : Joydip Sharma, Shyamal Nath, Abhijit Mallik, Arikul Islam. All of them had to admitted in Dharmanagr hospital.

It's worthy to mention here that Muslim vote banks work as goldmines for Communist in Tripura. At North Tripura and at places like Sonamura, Boxonagar Muslim votes have led CPI-M towards victory.

But the free flow might be disrupted in 2018 as a huge number of Muslims are joining recently in BJP Minority Morcha and allegedly this is the reason behind the increasing poll tensions.
