Ambassa, June 9 (TIWN): Half completed two new block building, (with the estimate cost of atleast Rs. 2 crores as per the Govt. record) has been inaugurated by RD Minister Naresh Jamatia. Ganganagar Block , Community Hall,Pantha Nivas and Raishyabari RD Block were inaugurated by RD Minister Naresh Jamatia in presence of MP JIten Choudhury. They both jointly inaugurated the half-done block building. The block was supposed to be inaugurated in the month of April’2017, but inaugurated 2 months later without displaying any details of the utilization of the funds..Planned construction work was to be completed within 2 years, but after 4 years the work could not be completed by RD Dept due to gobbling of central funds.

Moreover, for any central govt. funded project, RD Dept. must put a ‘Display-Board’ on the construction spot mentioning progress and fund utilization details but no such display board found. Already, the half done building has started to deteriorate. Cracks developed in parts of building. As a result, the half made building has been inaugurated hurriedly as the deadline of the construction work is over long back.

But surprisingly RD Minister and MP Jiten  criticized the Central Govt. for depriving Tripura and for not cooperating with the states.

MP Jiten also blamed the Modi led Govt. for increasing violence in the name of Hindu religion.

Manik Sarkar has shown how to fool people by blaming Central Govt. who sponsored  the fundings, whereas his (CM’s) own corrupted officials are looting central funds.

Tripura’s maximum blocks are under huge corruption.  But Manik Sarkar said how development has been brought under communist era.

Whether he claims for massive and faster development in rural Tripura, but in actual the massive corruptions held under RD Dept. in various subdivisions has left the villages without survey also.

In 2014-15, atleast 36 blocks were left without audit in Manik Sarkar’s regime in Tripura. The works were going without any record and the funds are using without any calculation under Tripura RD Dept.

Reportedly, in 2015 under the govt. audit director in 19 blocks audit are done, but the 36 blocks are left without audit, among them in 3 blocks govt. has done special audit. The 3 blocks are: Bishalgarh, Rupaichari and Pehcrathal.

However, surprisingly, these 3 audit spots are the most corrupted areas under RD Dept. For example, Bishalgarh is notoriously infamous  for MGNREGA scam due to the blessings of BDO Bimal Chakraborty, whereas there are so many allegations against Rupaichari block.

The entire district of South Tripura is under the grip of alleged scam of Rs 10 crore at Rupaichari Block. It was in the year 2015, April 4that the resent REGA workers had broken down the various equipments at Pecharthal RD Block office, complaining for moths of pending wages.

Following the incident atleast Rs. 7 to 8 lakhs  had been sanctioned for the block’s repairing, but almost 1 year has been passed after the incident but the office has not yet been repaired. Allegations are coming against the BDO ParitoshBiswash& the Engineer in-charge for embezzling the total fund. However, a signboard has already been put behind the block in the name of repairing the office but reportedly, not a single work has been done at there.

Union RD Ministry’s Joint Secretary Aparajita Sarangi was smart enough to catch GSG Ayyangar and Manik Sarkar’s manipulation of MGNREGA mandays during her official visit to Tripura. So to teach a lesson to Manik Sarkar’s corruption administration after State Govt’s RD Dept reports with vague numbers of total Man-days in a year(2015-16) and achieving one after one awards with for “Highest Man-days” with that Fake reports, the Central RD Ministry has deducted the fund for MGNREGA (for FY 2016-17).
