AGARTALA, June 8 (TIWN): Tripura Pradesh Congress on Thursday halted railway service at every railway stations in Tripura protesting against the 5 persons death at Madhya Pradesh during a farmer-led-protest.
Youth Congress leaders and others remained present during the protest hours at Agartala Railway Station.
At least five persons died and several injured in Madhya Pradesh’s Mandsaur district on Tuesday when police fired on protesters demanding better prices in the drought-ravaged region that recorded a farm suicide every five hours in 2016-17.
However, reacting back the incident, Congress on Thursday paralyzed railway service which created a chaos in various railway stations.
