Tripura ration shop dealers demand to be Govt Employee

AGARTALA, June 7 (TIWN) Left front backed ration shop dealers staged protest at Northern part of state Tripura with 7 points of demands.

The 3 hour-long demonstration was placed with these following demands :

  1. Like earlier, 1 kilo rice per person have to be given,
  2. Commission should be hiked for Kerosene,
  3. 35 Kilo per every ration card should be given to the APL holders,
  4. Commission for wheat need to be increased,
  5. All consumers should be brought under Food Safety Act,
  6. 14 necessary items via ration shops must be supplied forever,
  7. Ration shop dealers should be appointed as Govt Employees.
