AGARTALA, June 7 (TIWN): A rape convicted passed class12 exam under Tripura Board of Secondary Education with the result declaration of Class-12 on Wednesday.

Ananda Kriti Jamatia, S/O-Ananda Kishore Jamatia was jailed in 2015 in a rape case. Surprisingly Ananda Kishore and his parents all are bearing same name as his mother is also Ananda Jamatia.

SDM Udaipur Subhashish Banerjee said that Ananda was guided by a teacher in the jail and passed with 190 in total.

With English and Bengali, Ananda Kriti Jamatia had choosen History, Education and Political Science as his subjects.

Ananda was jailed for 12 years in 2015.
