UDAIPUR, June 3 (TIWN): Assam Chief Minister Sarbanada Sonowal on Saturday has inaugurated Modi-Fest at South Tripura's Santibazar in the presence of veteran BJP leaders as Sunil Deodhar (BJP State Observer), Biplab Deb (BJP President in Tripura), Subol Bhowmik before he arrived at Udaipur City and prayed to Ma Tripura Sundari. Addressing the gathering at Santirbazar of above thousands of people from South Tripura who gathered at Shantirbazar, to see the exhibition of Modi fest, Sonowal stressed upon the 3 years of achievement of Modi Govt from roadway to railway. Sonowal also described in details about the special activities only launched for Northeast India through the Act-East Policy. Arriving at Udaipur via helicopter from Santirbazar, Sonowal reached Matabari and directly went to the temple to offer prayers to Tripura Sundari. After 'puja' sitting at VIP room, Sonowal addressing the media here said, "I prayed for betterment of the state and people's growth and prosperity. People, youths here are capable to do many things but due to long ruling of CPI-M party the pathetic condition of the state is now well known".
"Tripura BJP's response is good. The way the party is progressing, I believe CPI-M will surely fall in 2018", said Sonowal and left for a rally as a part of Modi-Fest organzied at Udaipur Kirit Bikram Institution school ground.
