AGARTALA, June 3 (TIWN): Newly joined DGP Tripura A K Sukla on Saturday visited various police stations of Tripura, including women police stations.
After his joining on April-11 as the DGP of Tripura with the departure of former DGP K Nagraj from state, this is his first ever visit to various police stations, TIWN reported.
SP Abhijit Saptarshi accompanied DGP during the visit.
A K Sukla inspected various police stations and the facility available there as well as checked the environmental quality of police stations.
The 1986 batch IPS (Indian Police Service) officer Shukla before joining as Director General of Tripura police was Deputy Director of Intelligence Branch of the Union Home Ministry.
