AGARTALA, June 1 (TIWN): State Capital City has gone under water after a consistent rain since one day, disrupting the normal lives here, especially in office hours.
The city lives turned irritating with the drain and rain water mixed together.
However, this problem is nothing new for Agartala, but every monsoon sees such water-logging conditions throughout the year.
Tripura Govt received Rs. 102.22 crores under JNNURM for AMC to buy water discharging machine, but all these remained without any effect from diminishing the water logging problem of the state.
Weather Dept said that there are more rains with thunders are coming in state in next 48 hours.
