AGARTALA, May 30 (TIWN): Opposing the FIR lodged by state police against Trinamool activists who showed black flags to the Chief Minister of state and forced him to go back on May-25, Trinamool leaders led by MLA Asish Saha placed deputation to the DG A K Sukla and talked about the issue.
The FIR was lodged against the activists alleging assaulting a lady police constable during the protest.
However, TMCP activists fully denied the allegations brought against them.
However, protesting against Police's FIR against Tripura Trianamool Chatra Parishad, the activists will staged a 2 hours long silent demonstration from 12 PM to 2 PM infront of Secretariat's Gandhi statue on Sunday.
Alleging the FIR as based on false accusation that Trinamool Chatra Parshad protesters assaulted women police force of the state, TMCP leader Viki Prasad said, 'If anybody can show a footage of the incident when a woman constable was assaulted then we will accept everything & I'm challenging no media friend can also do that'.
